Sociology Sings Back

This is a ‘Teach-Out’ Event organised by Durham University’s Dept of Sociology as part of the strike action by the University and College Union during February and March.
Drop in when you want. Indicative programme (subject to change):
- 11.30-12.30 Introduction, Catherine Donovan and Nicky Rushton lead a discussion of the Sociology Protest Song project with contributions from people involved and external participants
- 12.30-14.00 Pop Up Choir, Join a Pop Up choir and learn and sing through four songs that have been written by Nicky about Sociology and social change
- 14.00-16.00 Community Art Activities (Lisa McKenzie and Seaham Art Group)
